Graders

Power Step has a retractable ladder type access system for the Cat 24H grader.  This system mounts in place of the factory ladder system on the grader on either the right or left side.

When lowered, the ladder is approximately 12 inches from the ground.  When retracted, the ladder is up and out of the way of potential damage from ground obstruction or the blade.  When extended, the ladder provides a rigid access system, eliminating flex steps.

The Power Step retractable ladder has a self-contained 24V powered hydraulic power unit that connects to the machine battery.  Control switches are located at ground level and in the operators cab.  A limit switch and cab mounted alarm box warn the operator when the ladder is down.
